oh, crab!

here's something for you guys to ponder on...

what makes a person 'mulia'? does praying 5 times a day without fail and read the Quran every night makes a person noble? what if the same person lies, and bitch about other people? is she/he still mulia? in my opinion, that's being religious. but even religions - not just Islam - state that it's sinful to lie and talk behind people's back.

share your thoughts.

on a happier note, kusa and i came back from asia cafe in subang an hour ago. i FINALLY got my crabs! asia cafe is subang's equivalent to hartamas square... but to find a parking spot is like looking for a 5 sen coin in a big bag full of nuts and bolts! murder! but kusa and i both enjoyed our meal, and are planning to go back... but not in the near future. we, especially kusa, need to find our will and patience again. haha.

i need to get some shut-eye... so freaking sleepy! but first i need to wake kusa up... Man U is playing tonight. but he's sleeping like a baby, i hate to interrupt! ~sigh~

later, world~

"i FINALLY got my crabs!"

in some parts of the world, that might sound weird. kinda like the saying goes.. "better to have lobsters on your piano than crabs on your organ."

just my 5 sen..

ehehehehe... anyways, kongratulasi on your getting to eat the roasted crab. poor mister krabs, u evil evil woman! anyway, sedap tak?

btw, i dunno mira. that's a seriously sensitive subject. sometimes, people tend to do that as a routine, without the feeling "pasrah and insaf" that you must have. they just pray because "it's their duty" and they have to, not because they want to.

others of course, when they pray, at least they have the decency to kneel in front of God to be humbled by him and all... even if they bitch and talk about ppl behind their backs. but during that moment, when it's between him/her and God, it's really a moment when they know that they're stupid and small and insignificant.

but of course if you pray and or lie and really talk bad about other ppl or still have sex at the same time, i feel like you're mocking god, dont u think? it's like, u pray, and you're doing this, so obviously something's not right, right? ppl who really pray will not get angry easily, says Nabi Muhammad. so basically, if you're praying right, you dont do all those things.

all in all, this is a cliche, but it's true so here goes: these are things between God and the person. all we can do is speculate, but He knows best, so we hope for the best. ^___^

my mom always say 'whatever it is, it all lies in your heart - your true feelings; your true intentions', and i really think she's right.

omg, panjangnye. sorry mira! muahs!

mulia ek? bg aku la kan. macam cik ekin ckp at the end of her comment tuh....it all lies in your heart - your true feelings; your true intention...

kalau bab religionly mulia of course la u've got to have all that characteristic that u mention. buuut, individually, org mulia nih, org yg ikhlas in whatever he did. and believe strongly in honesty and trust. That's what I think. la.

Hmm. "mulia" nih sgt subjective la. The society u live in and their mindset pun kena di ambil kira. Kalau tgal kat certain state, mulia depends on how religous a person is. In some other state could be ur kindness or the work that u did....hmm- Subjective.

tuh la kan? it all depends... i agree on the views of the both of you. but one way of seeing it is, if the person if praying and do all the stuff that Allah suruh buat, and the person buat, it makes a person mulia religiously. kot. but if the same person buat macam macam... like mengutuk orang and menipu semua... i guess tak boleh la panggil orang tu mulia as a person, as a whole. to me the word mulia is almost... sacred-like. we don't hear people use the word mulia about another person all that much, kan? so maybe... a mulia person is someone who does it all and watches over his or her behavior gak. tapi ye la.. to err is human. no such thing as a perfect man or woman. kan kan? ha i pun wat comment panjang!
btw ikin... the crab wasn't roasted. it was boiled. deliciously boiled. haha. LAYAN gile makan ngan roti goreng. pergh~
